The Workflow

When I started recording and airing The Context a few months ago, I didn’t very much know how the process would work. Yes, my team would help in the process, but it would not be clear who would do what exactly, and when.

It took a lot of episodes, and persistence, to learn the steps, and develop a consistent process. Only then I was able to delegate much of the work. If this were a different periodic task, that is when the next phase would be to automate most of it.

That is how it necessarily happens: you can only optimize and automate what you understand. And you can only understand thoroughly a task through repeated execution, experiments, to map it all out, and to have a clear perception of its components, its dynamics, and its boundaries.
